First download the free app "GPS-Test" from the Google Play Store. Once this app is installed, please open it and, if you have not already done so, switch the GPS of your LG V30 to "on" (via the status bar).
Now open the menu in the GPS Test app by tapping on the symbol with the three dots in the upper right corner. Select the entry "AGPS".
