Android Marshmallow - Check for New Updates

The current operating system Android Marshmallow is also like the previously versions supplied with regular updates. These firmware updates will appear automatically when they are available. However, sometimes it can also be the case that you are faster, if you look for the update manually.

That is why we show you here how to manually check for new firmware update in Android Marshmallow:

1. For this purpose, open on your Android Marshmallow smartphone the menu and then the Settings

2. Navigate on "Device Information" --> "Phone Info" or "About the phone". Tap on the menu item

3. Continue to "Software update". In this submenu, you can now find "Update Now". Select the entry and your smartphone will search for new Android marshmallow updates.

4. If a newer version is available, then you can now begin to start the update. We recommend you before each firmware update to make a backup of your sensitive data.

You know now how to search on a smartphone with Android Marshmallow manually for new updates.
