If you get the error "Instagram 5xx server error" on your smartphone in the Instagram app or when you open the Instagram web page, this means that you will no longer be able to follow your friends, acquaintances, celebrities or companies.
But why does the error appear at all and what can you do yourself to fix this and get access to Instagram again?
The answer is: Relatively little
Because the "Instagram 5xx server error" means that there is an error within the Instagram server. For example, the following problem may occur:
- 500: Internal server error; z. Such as malfunction of a script, crash of a process, or resource bottleneck
• 501: Not implemented; Requirements not met by the server
• 502: Bad gateway, server invalid response
• 503: Temporarily not available. This can mean, for example, that the server is overloaded, is being serviced or is defective
If you get an Instagram 5xx server error when opening Instagram, restart your smartphone or your computer. Check if an Internet connection exists. If this is the case, there is actually a problem with the Instagram servers. Most of the cases it only helps to wait.
