The weather widget from Accuweather is preinstalled on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and placed on the home screen. It is quite nice, but there are also good alternatives, such as the “Solo Weather” widget.
So if you no longer want to use the Accuweather widget on your Samsung Galaxy S4, you can remove this as follows:
Press and hold your finger on the weather widget until it shrinks. Keep the finger on the screen pressed and move the widget now onto the small trash can on the top of the screen.
If your finger tip is over the trash can icon, you can let it go and the widget is removed from your homescreen
That's it! You have just successfully deleted the weather widget from the home screen of your Samsung Galaxy S4.
