There is the possibility on your Samsung Galaxy S5 to disable the pin for the sim card. While this may not be particularly safe, but for one or the other, perhaps quite useful. We would like to explain how you can deactivate the pin for the sim card on the Samsung Galaxy S5, so you can make calls without PIN entry.
OPen the menu on your Samsung Galaxy S5 menu and then navigate as follows:
Settings -> Security -> Sim-Pin Options
The very first entry is called "Sim Card PIN". Behind it you will find a checkbox with a hook in it. Prompt away the hook and enter your Sim Card Pin. After entering the Pin, the option is deactivated.
Now you dont need to put in your Sim Card Pin to use the telephone function of your Samsung galaxy S5.
