If you own a Huawei P20, you will notice several new functions and icons that are not available on other smartphones. We want to go into one of these icons in more detail here - the eye icon, which is displayed in the status bar of the Huawei P20.

Eye icon on the Huawei P20 - Meaning and Function
The eye icon in the notification bar of the Huawei P20 is always visible when the "Save Eyes" mode is activated. This mode filters the blue light out of the display and thus prevents visual fatigue.
The display therefore has warmer colors, which at first seems strange, but in the long run it is more pleasant for the eyes. The Eye Protection mode can be deactivated or scheduled automatically. This works as follows:
- Now select "Save Eyes"
You can now deactivate the mode via the On/Off switch or you can plan the time by activating the controller under "Schedule".
