The Dark Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S20 causes the colors to be displayed dark instead of light. Thus, activating this mode saves battery power, because displaying dark colors consumes much less battery power than displaying light colors.
In the following we would like to describe how to activate the Dark Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S20.
Dark Mode - Enable setting for Android and supporting apps
1. open the settings on the Samsung Galaxy S20
2. Navigate to "Display".
3. Select "Dark" as the color scheme at the top.
Now the Dark Mode is active. You can now adjust it and for example select a schedule, adjust the background image accordingly or activate an Adaptive Color Filter.
After you have made the setting on your Samsung Galaxy S20, the setting will now also ensure that certain apps such as Instagram or WhatsApp are automatically displayed in dark mode.
