Windows 10 do I have the 64 bit or the 32 bit version installed? Solved!

In Windows 10 there are two different bit variants: 64 bit or 32 bit. The differences are drastic, because with a Windows 10 with 32 Bit the RAM is limited to 4 GB RAM memory.

The 64 bit variant allows much higher RAM sizes. Perhaps you are now wondering which Windows you currently have installed.

Here we show you how you can find out this quickly and easily for your PC:

Windows 10

1. Touch the Windows icon on the keyboard and then select the gear icon to open the settings of Windows 10.

2. Now select the entry "System" and in the next window the entry "Info"

3. In the section "Device Specifications" the variant of Windows is now displayed under System Type.

This is possible:

  • Windows 10 32 Bit
  • Windows 10 64 Bit

You now know how to recognize under Windows 10 whether you have installed the 32 Bit or the 64 Bit variant.
