iPhone: Disable screen activation on lift

The "Enable on lift" feature is a very useful feature on iPhone. It lets you turn on the display by simply lifting the phone from an interface.

However, sometimes this may not be as convenient as it looks at first glance. Especially if you carry your iPhone in a backpack or handbag so that the screen is automatically illuminated at unintended times by the "Enable when lifting" feature.

How to disable "Enable on lift"

1. Open Settings.

2. Navigate to "Display & Brightness".

3. Disable "Enable on lift" To turn iPhone on or off.

To enable the display, you must now either press the Page key, tap the screen, or press the Home key.
