Instagram now also offers the possibility to send GIF animations via Messenger. Using GIF´s was previously only possible in Stories.
If you as well as we haven't discovered the function yet, then you should take a look at the Instagram messenger. Here you can find a button with "GIF" after tapping the editor line.
If you select this button, a search bar opens with which you can now search the online service "GIPHY". Enter a search term and select the GIF image.
This will be sent immediately to your contact. This will look like this: A cool function, because you can easily send your Instagram friends funny messages, for example to express your mood at the moment.
