If you have downloaded an app from the Google Play Store to Honor 10, it will be automatically updated when a newer version is available.
This is a service of the Google Play Store as it ensures that you always have the latest version installed on your device.
However, it is possible that some apps may only become bad, but not better, with an update. So if you don't want to leave this to chance, you can disable the automatic app updates in the settings as follows:
Disable auto-update of apps on Honor 10
1. Navigate to:
- App menu --> Google Play Store
2. Tap the three-bar icon in the upper left corner and select "Settings" from the sidebar menu. Here you will find the entry "Automatic App-Updates" at the top.
3. Touch this entry and select "No automatic app updates".
From now on, the apps installed through the Google Play Store will no longer be automatically updated, meaning that the currently installed version will remain on your Honor 10.
