The new Samsung smartphones are equipped with Dolby Atmos technology. Dolby Atmos technology allows you to generate surround sound from the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 speakers.
In order to use this function, the option has to be activated first. This works as follows:
Activate Dolby Atmos via status bar Simply pulls the status bar from above into the display with two fingers. Then tap the corresponding toggle with "Dolby Atmos" to activate the function for the loudspeakers.

Alternatively, you can also find the option in the Android settings. Navigate as follows:
1. Starts from the homescreen and opens the settings
2. Navigates now to "Sounds and Vibration"
3. Scrolls down to the section "sound quality and effects". Activates Dolby Atmos with the slider
