The Huawei P20 Pro has a useful function built in, the so-called "Smart Unlock". This allows you to unlock the screen automatically when the device is paired with a specific Bluetooth device, such as the car.
Practical because you don't always have to unlock your phone. However, you have to set up Smart Unlock first. We'll explain exactly how this works here:
On the Huawei P20 Pro, open the following submenu in the settings:
Security & Privacy --> Screen Lockout and Passwords --> Smart Unlock
You must now activate Bluetooth and be near the Bluetooth device where you want the display of the Huawei P20 Pro to unlock automatically. Pair both devices or select an existing pairing to access the device via Smart Unlock.
If Smart Unlock has integrated the Bluetooth device into the list of trusted devices, the display of the Huawei P20 Pro will now be unlocked automatically when it is connected to the Bluetooth device.
