RDP stands for Remote Desktop Protocol. This makes it possible to access other Windows computers, which is especially useful within a network. To do this, however, the RDP port 3389 must be enabled on the target computer to which you want to access. Here we show you how to find and release it:

First, you need to access the Control Center of your Wi-Fi router.

In our example we use the common Fritz Box as a W-Lan Router. Open the Control Center by typing the following in the address bar in a browser:

• frit.box

Enter your password and you will be in the router's Control Center interface.

Click on the "Internet" button on the left first and then on "Sharing". If you don't have a Fitz Box, this menu item can be changed to "Port Sharing".

• Select "Add device for sharing".
• Select the PC you want to access via RDP.
• Select "New share".
• Under "Application", select "Other application".
• Under Protocol select „UDP or TCP".
• Under "Port to device", select 3389 as the end and destination port.

The port is now open and you should be able to access it from another PC using Remote Desktop protocol. Keep in mind that open ports can be a security risk!

You now know how to enable the RDP port via the router.

Nowadays you hardly use CD's to install a new operating system like Windows, Linux or macOS. Instead USB sticks are used. Here you have a lot of storage capacity and at the same time a fast data rate. However, you first have to make a USB stick bootable. This is necessary for the computer, laptop or MAC to recognize and boot the data contained on it.

How to make a USB stick bootable is explained in the following instructions.

• Download the Universal USB Installer for your computer

After downloading the program executes it by double-clicking the file.

In the Universal USB Installer, select the operating system for which you want to create the bootable USB stick.

In the next step, select the ISO file of the operating system.

Then selects the medium where to save the data. Selects USB stick here. Remember that your USB stick should be at least 6 GB in size.

Then click "Create" to transfer the system to the USB stick

This USB stick is now bootable and can be used to install the previously selected operating system.

The term gigabyte can be found on many hard disks, memory cards, SSD drives etc. These days. Even with smartphones, the internal memory is always specified in GB. You might want to know how many megabytes (MB) one gigabyte actually has.

We want to answer this question for you in this article. First of all, briefly repeat the abbreviations: GB stands for Gigabyte and MB stands for Megabyte.

Convert 1 gigabyte to megabyte:

A gigabyte (GB) consists of:

• 1024 megabyte (MB).
• 1,048,576 kilobytes (KB)

An example: A photo currently has about 8 MB. This means that you can store about 128 pictures with one gigabyte of memory.

You now know the conversion from gigabyte to megabyte and even to kilobytes (KB).

The Huawei P10 has an integrated magnetic sensor, which can be used in combination with an App as a compass. This compass recognizes the magnetic fields of the earth and shows you the direction based on them. Now the compass may show you a wrong direction within the app. This is mostly due to the fact that the compass has to be calibrated. The following instructions explain how this works with the Huawei P10:

To do this, please open an app that accesses the magnetic sensor. Every Compass App from the Google Play Store is suitable for this purpose. Proceed as follows to calibrate the compass:

1. Turn the phone once around each axis
2. Move the Huawei P10 in the form of an eight in front of your body
3. Make sure that there are no sources of interference such as heating etc. in the vicinity (optimally outdoors)

The compass of the Huawei P10 is then properly calibrated again and should display the cardinal points correctly. They now know how to calibrate the compass or magnet sensor on the Huawei P10.

If you use a micro SD memory card in your Samsung Galaxy S8 to expand internal memory, you may need to format this card at some point. However, the setting for this is well hidden and therefore we explain here step by step how to format the memory card on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and delete all data.

To format the Micro SD, open the following submenu of your Samsung Galaxy S8:

1. Open the App menu and open the Android System Preferences

2. From here, go to "Device Maintenance" and "Memory".

3. Now select "SD card" and tap on the three-point symbol in the next submenu on the top right-hand side of the screen.

4. A pop-up menu opens - tap on "Memory Settings".

5. Select "SD card" again and you will find the option:

6. Tip the entry to erase the Micro SD card in your Samsung Galaxy S8 completely.

Formatting the Micro SD Memory Card may take a short time.

Afterwards it is as complete as new and you have the full storage space available again.

If you have inserted a Micro SD Memory Card in your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or Note 8 Duos, you may want to format it to erase all the data it contains. You don't need a PC, you can format the memory card directly via Android. In which menu of the settings this can be found, we show you here:

To format the Micro SD, open the following submenu of your Samsung Galaxy Note 8:

• App-Menu --> Settings --> Device Maintenance --> Memory --> SD Card

Click on the three-point symbol in the upper right corner and then tap on "Memory Settings". Select "SD card" again and you will find the option:

The formatting of the SD card is very well hidden in the Android settings, but we hope that the instructions have helped you to make your memory card "flat".

Tip 1: Perform restart

Usually the camera error can be solved very quickly by restarting the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The cause is usually the Android operating system, which has been running for several days without a restart.

Tip 2: Reset camera app

You must now reset the Android camera app of your Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This works with the Android App Manager. To open it on your device, start from your home screen and tap:

Tip 4: Check camera for defects

If the tips have not been able to do anything against the camera error before, then you have to check if your camera module is defective. Here's how it works:

1. Opens the service menu on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8
2. Open Mega Cam.
3. Result:

• If you see a camera image and the device does not crash, then the hardware works, i. e. the camera module --> last chance to reset to factory settings.
• If you do not see a camera image, the camera module of note 8 is most likely defective. Then there's only one last tip: the guarantee

Make a backup of your iPhone. The iPhone then resets to factory defaults and restores your data.
