Honor 10 has several camera modes integrated, which can be activated automatically via the so-called camera AI. The AI mode selects the predefined settings depending on the subject.

This is for example the case with plants, sunsets, blue sky etc..

Often the camera modes, which are automatically suggested by the AI mode, are not so good, so you might want to deactivate this artificial camera intelligence. How this works on Honor 10 is explained here:

Switch off Honor 10 Master AI

1. Open the camera app on your Honor 10.

2. Navigate further to the gear symbol and thus to the single digits of the camera app.

3. Now deactivate the "AI Mode" of the camera app.

From now on, photos on the Honor 10 will only be taken with the standard automatic settings, which usually provide better results, since the contrasts, colors, saturation etc. are not too strong.

If you have installed a game from the Google Play Store on your Huawei P20 Pro and have played it through completely, then you may want to delete the saved games and restart the game.

Now you're wondering how to reset a score. Here we want to help you with the following instructions:

Resetting saved games on the Huawei P20 Pro - Instructions

Option 1: Reset save game with App Delete data

To do this, please navigate to the settings and then to "Apps & Notifications". Continue with "Apps" and then to the app where you would like to delete the save data.

Once you have found them, select them to display the App data. Here you will find the button "Storage". Tap on it and you will see the following two buttons:

• Clear Cache
• Delete data

Select the two buttons and the game score should be cleared so that you can start the game again. If this doesn't help, your game data will be saved by the app in a cloud.

Usually this is "Google Play Games". In the following, we will explain how to delete the game statuses:

Option 2: Reset score via Google Play Games

Please open the "Play Games" app on the Huawei P20 Pro. Continue by clicking on the three-point symbol in the upper right corner and then on "Settings".

Now select "Delete Play Games data" and tap "Delete" next to the corresponding game.

This will reset the corresponding game to zero and you can start the game again.

You now have two methods to reset your saved games on the Huawei P20 Pro and start the game from the beginning.

If you often have to fill out forms within your Internet browser, you can make your work easier by using the "Auto Fill" function.

The used application recognizes directly if it is a form and fills out the individual fields like name, address etc. accordingly.

In order to use the Auto Fill function on the Huawei P20 Pro, you must first activate it.

This works as follows:

1. Start by opening the Android settings of the Huawei P20 Pro.

2. Scroll down and select "System".

3. Go on to "Auto Fill" in the "Advanced" section.

4. Select the app you want to use for "Auto Fill" now. Stand by the option:

• Google
• Samsung Pass

5. Once you have made your selection and saved your data, forms on the Internet will be filled automatically from now on.

You now know where you can activate the Auto Fill function for forms on the Huawei P20 Pro.

On the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 already some MP3 ringtones are installed in advance, but you would prefer to use your own MP3 ringtone, for example with your current favorite song.

If you don't currently know how to set an MP3 file as the active ringtone on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, we'd like to explain this to you here:

First of all, you should copy the MP3 song you want to use as a ringtone on your smartphone and put it in a folder. Then you can choose from one of the two options:

Variant 1: Via the Android settings - Add ringtone

Open Android settings from the start screen. Here you will find the menu item "Tones & Vibration".  Touch this menu item and the corresponding submenu will open.

Here you can now select the "Ringtone" menu item. A list will now open in which all standard ringtones currently usable or contained on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are listed.

These are usually those already provided by Android, the mobile operator or Samsung. Own MP3 songs (including the song recorded during the preparation) on the smartphone are not yet included in this list.

To add a new MP3 ringtone, click on the "Add ringtone" button at the end of the list.

A window will now open with "Finish with" - Select "Sound selection" here and the corresponding window will open. In this window you can now see all songs and sounds stored in MP3 format on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

This also includes the song that you have copied on your Note 9 at the beginning. Now select the MP3 song that you want to use as the active ringtone on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

If you have marked this, it will now be played, so that you can check whether this MP3 file is suitable for ringtone use.

Variant 2: Via the Android settings - Create folder structure

You can also create a new directory structure on the internal memory of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or the Micro memory card, in which the MP3 ringtones are then stored.

Please create the following directory structure:

• Root directory/media/audio/alarms (folder for alarm tones)
• Root directory/media/audio/ringtones (folder for ring tones)
• Root directory/media/audio/notifications (folder for notifications)

The folders are for alarm tones, ring tones and notification tones (also text messages).

Now move your ring tones in MP3 format into the folder "ringtones". 

If you have moved the ringtones to the MP3 folder, please restart your smartphone. They will now be displayed in the list of available ringtones.

You now know two methods to add MP3 ringtones to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Under Android you can define which USB mode should be activated if you want to connect your smartphone to a computer via USB cable.

As a possibility are mostly available:

• Only Charging
• Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)
• Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP)
• RNDIS (Ethernet over USB)
• Audio source MIDI

If you want to transfer photos and videos from your Android smartphone to your PC, we often recommend the MTP mode, i.e. the Media Transfer Protocol.

Here we show you how you can set Android to always activate this mode when you connect your smartphone via USB: First, the developer options must be enabled.

Proceed as follows (menu items vary depending on device and Android version):

1. Opens to unlock the developer options in Android settings.

2. Navigate here to "Device Information" and then to Software Info

3. You now see an entry with "Build Number"

4. Now quickly tap this entry several times - After about seven taps the developer mode is activated under Android.

The developer options are now active. Now you can activate MTP for USB permanently as follows:

1. Open the Android settings and then the "Developer Options" (Activate them if not done)

2. Scroll down and select "USB Configuration"

3. Set the marking at "MTP Mode (Media Transfer Protocol)"

You have now switched the USB configuration to MTP mode under Android. This means that your Android smartphone always connects in this mode, which means that you can easily transfer files and photos.

If you have installed the action game Fortnite on your Android smartphone such as the Samsung Galaxy Note, the S9, the Huawei P20 Pro etc. and would like to play the game now, then the app may not react.

In addition, an error message "Fortnite does not respond" may appear on the screen. If this is often the case and you can't play the game, please proceed as follows to solve the problem:

Fortnite - Clear data and cache to prevent future crashes

1. Open the settings on your Android smartphone

2. Select Apps - you should now see all apps installed on your smartphone in a list

3. Select FORTNITE and then "Save"

4. You will now see two buttons: Delete data Delete cache

Selects both buttons one after the other The app data is now reset and the smartphone should be restarted once. Afterwards you can open FORTNITE again.

Now you have to enter your access data and should be able to use the game again as usual. Crashes should no longer occur.

You can also take photos with long exposure with your Huawei P20 Pro and the integrated triple camera. This means that you can expose a subject for up to 30 seconds.

This is a very useful feature, especially at night or in the dark. This allows you to capture more details in the dark.

How you can take a photo with long-time exposure on the Huawei P20 Pro is explained in the following instructions:

1. Open the camera app of the Huawei P20 Pro

2. Switch to the Pro mode of the camera

3. Set the value for "S" to "30", which stands for an exposure time of 30 seconds

4. Set the value for ISO to 125 or higher, depending on how dark or bright your surroundings are with the long-time exposure.

The darker, the higher the ISO value must be set.

As a result, the image quality decreases. Note! The Huawei P20 Pro must be fixed during long exposure and must not be moved!

Now you know how to set an exposure time of 30 seconds with the Huawei P20 Pro and how to take photos with long time exposure.

The Huawei P20 Pro has several features built into its software, including drawing on the display. This means that you can switch to an app by drawing a letter on the screen.

As an example. Drawing the letter C opens the camera app. But now it is often the case that this function is often activated when playing a game like Clash Royale.

This is of course unfavorable, because the game is interrupted and you might lose by this short drop-out.

If you want to deactivate the drawing on the screen of the Huawei P20 Pro, please proceed as follows:

1. Open the settings

2. Now select "Intelligent Support"

3. Go on to "Motion Control" and then to "Draw"

4. Deactivate the function by simply moving the slider from "On" to "Off"

Then you can continue playing the game on your Huawei P20 Pro again without interruption by a function like "Draw".

WhatsApp has finally activated the feature "Group video chat" for all users. With this feature you can talk to and watch several people at the same time via video.

A nice feature, assuming a sufficiently fast Internet connection. Where you can now start such a group video chat in WhatsApp, we would like to explain this in more detail here.

First open WhatsApp and then start a video call with a contact.

When the connection is established and you are in the video chat with this participant, you will see an icon in the upper right corner which you can use to add new participants.

Select the icon and you can then add up to two more participants.

This means that a maximum of 4 participants can participate in a video conference call.
