Every call made or received from your Huawei Mate 20 Pro is recorded in a call log with date, time, and contact or phone number. This protocol can therefore help you to understand who you have spoken to in the past.

The display is automatically made brighter in sunlight and darker or less strongly illuminated in darkness.

Enable Auto Brightness for Display

1. First open the settings on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

2. Go to "Display" and you will see a checkbox with "Auto" next to "Brightness".

3. Check the box to enable Auto Brightness on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Now the display brightness is controlled automatically by the light sensor. This is useful because you don't always have to adjust the brightness yourself.

Sometimes the autofocus of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro can "jam". What can help here is to gently tap the smartphone in your hand. The autofocus can be freed by these gentle blows.

Apps downloaded from the Google Play Store on your Huawei Mate 20 Pro are usually automatically updated from the Google Play Store if a newer version is available and you are connected to the Internet.

If you want to decide for yourself when to update an app from the Google Play Store, you should disable automatic app updates. This works as follows in the settings.

Disabling the Auto Update function on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro
