W-Lan calls, also known as Wi-Fi calling, are not enabled on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro by default. If you would like to use this and have booked the corresponding option in your mobile phone contract, please follow our instructions to activate W-Lan calls:

Activating Wi-Fi Calling on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro

1. Open the Android settings on your smartphone

2. Then navigate to "Wireless & Networks".

3. From there, go to "Call settings".

4. Select "WiFi Calling" and activate the option by pressing the button - Done!

So now you can use the W-Lan network at home or on the road via a hotspot to make phone calls. Often a very useful function, especially if you don't have enough or only bad reception over the standard mobile network.

You now know how to enable WiFi calling on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

The Huawei P20 Pro is ideal for use as a dictation machine. There is a corresponding app on the smartphone, which is installed in advance.

Below we would like to show you where you can find the dictation app on the Huawei P20 Pro.

Dictaphone - Using the recorder on the P20 Pro - Instructions

1. Open the "Tools" folder on the Home screen

2. Here you will find the app "Recorder" - open it

3. You can now start and stop a sound recording by pressing the red recording button.

You now know the procedure for making sound recordings on the Huawei P20 Pro.

If you have a Nokia Smartphone with Android operating system and call up the call list or call log, you will see all calls that have been received or made on your device stored in it.

If you want to delete this call log, you have to do the following on a Nokia device with Android:

Deleting a call list on a Nokia smartphone

1. Open the phone app from the start screen

2. Switch to the call list

3. Tap on the multi-symbol (three-point symbol).

4. Tap Delete All.

5. Tap "Delete" to confirm.

Now the call log on your Nokia Smartphone is cleared and the saved entries with information such as duration, date contact, are no longer visible.

Often you will be able to send a contact that you have maintained on the Samsung Galaxy S8 as a business card via e-mail, Bluetooth, WiFi etc.. The Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a special function in the Contacts app that can be used as follows:

2. Select the contact whose contact details you want to send via business card

3. Tap on the i-button or Details in the menu bar that appears below the contact.

4. Now you can select "Send" at the top of the display in the contact detail view.

5. You must now select the format in which the business card is to be sent:

• vCard file (VCF)
• text

6. Select here:

• vCard file (VCF)

You can then select the method by which the contact is to be sent. For example: Bluetooth, e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp etc.

Now you have a contact that is stored and maintained on your Samsung Galaxy S8 as a business card sent.

Often you will be able to send a contact stored on the Samsung Galaxy S9 as a business card. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a special function for this in the Contacts app, which can be accessed as follows:

3. Tap on the i-Button or Details

4. Now you can select "Send" at the top of the display.

Now you have a contact that is stored on your Samsung Galaxy S9 as a business card sent.

On the Huawei P20 Pro you can quickly contact a contact or start a call by placing a direct dial widget on the Home screen. All you have to do is tap the widget to call the contact.

The following is a step-by-step description of how to add a direct dial widget to the home screen of the Huawei P20 Pro:

1. Press with your finger for a long time on a free area of the Home screen

2. It contracts and you will see a menu at the bottom of the display. Select the following entry:

• widgets

3. Scroll through the list and touch "Contacts".

4. Continue to direct election

5. Now select the contact for which the direct dialing is to be configured

The direct dial widget is now added to a free space on the Home screen.

If you tap on the direct dial widget, the contact will be called directly. This is useful, especially if you contact a certain person more often. This saves the detour via the Contacts app.

On the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 you can hide, show or fix the navigation bar by tapping on a small dot on the left side of the bar.

This allows you to permanently show the navigation bar at the bottom of the display for certain apps. To do this, simply tap twice on the leftmost icon in the navigation bar. You see this point very nicely in the following screenshot:

But what if you can't see this point on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 anymore? How can I display this again on the navigation bar? We want to explain this to you in our following step by step instructions:
