On the Samsung Galaxy S7 there is a new function, which is called as follows: "Quick Dial". With Quick Dial, you can easily phone a contact by pressing the Home key and then speaking the contacts name.
Quick Dial is not active from factory and can be activated only in the Galaxy Labs on your Samsung Galaxy S7. We show you here how you can turn on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Quick Dial for the home button.
For this please open the app menu and then the Settings. Scroll down until you can see "Advanced Features". In these you can now again scroll down until "Galaxy Labs" is displayed. Now tap on "Galaxy Labs" and you can see the functions that are available for testing.
Choose here now "Quick dial“ and then activate the function by using the slider. Subsequently, the Home button of your Samsung Galaxy S7 is reassigned. If you now press and hold the button and call a name which is present in the contacts, then this is called immediately.
