It may be that your Samsung Galaxy S8 starts at regular intervals, mostly on the same weekday by itself. The reason for this is often a setting within the Android system called "automatic restart". If this option is enabled, your smartphone will be restarted once a week.
If you do not want this, then we show you here how to disable this option on the Samsung Galaxy S8. Please proceed as follows:
1. From the Start screen, open the app menu and then the Android system settings
2. Scroll down and select "General Management"
3. Go to: Reset --> Automatic restart
4. Disable the option by setting the slider from Active to Inactive. Finished!
