The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a built-in LED flash, which is usually designed to lighten the environment when taking a photo. However, it is also possible to permanently activate this LED flash and use it as a torch. You can use the Samsung Galaxy S8 as a flashlight as follows:
There are two options to choose from:
Via the status bar
Drag the status bar of the S8 into the screen with two fingers from the top. You will now see a "toggle" with the inscription "Flashlight". Tap this and the camera LED light will light up. Tap it again and the light is out again.
Via the Sidebar - More settings for the brightness available
Drag the sidebar from the right into the screen and switch to the "Quick Tools" module. This must be, of course, have been activated before.
Here you can now switch to the lower right of the torch symbol and then activate it with the button. The practical thing with this variant is that you can adjust the brightness of the flashlight. Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the light intensity.
In addition, it is also possible to send an SOS Morse code automatically.
