You have on your Samsung Galaxy S7 with the new Always On display the possibility to not only display the clock on the screen, but also the calendar or a picture. These settings can be found in Android in the following sub-menu:
Navigate from your device home screen to:
App Menu --> Settings --> Display --> Always On Display
Now go to "Display Content". Tap on this entry and you now have the option to choose between:
- Calendar
- image
- clock
Now select the entry that you would like to see on the Always On display. You can then, for example, choose the calendar style or image.
