The RAM management in Android Nougat is self-regulating and you do not necessarily have to keep an eye on it. If you still want to know how much memory is still free on your Samsung Galaxy S7, you can check it out as follows:
Please start from the home screen of your Samsung Galaxy S7 and navigate:
1. App menu --> Settings --> Device Maintenance
2. Tap on "RAM" in the toolbar at the bottom
3. Your RAM is now checked and the result is then displayed. Here you can see how much RAM memory is currently occupied by the Android Nougat system and the apps.
Hint: Normally the RAM should be 3/4 full.
4. You can now empty the RAM by tapping "Clean Up"
