A special feature of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is the sidebar, also called side panel, which can be dragged from the edge area of the display to the screen. Here are various functions such as the Quick Tool, selected apps or contacts.
However, it may be that you no longer want to use this sidebar on your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. If this is the case, you can disable the page panel as follows.
To do this, navigate to the following submenu of your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge:
To do this, start from the home screen:
1. Open the app menu and then go to Settings
2. From here, navigate to: Page screen --> Page Panels
3. You will now see a slider that you need to switch from "On" to "Off" to disable the Edge bar on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
4. Done!
On your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the right side of the screen will no longer show the sidebar. Your home screen and the app menu are now clearer, as the semicircle is no longer visible.
