If you get displayed on your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge despite the disabled "Always On Display" a time on the edge of the screen, then the cause is an active setting in the Android system settings.
That is the so-called "Night clock". The Night Watch will be displayed on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge within a certain predetermined period of time. If you don´t want to use the night clock on your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, please proceed as follows:
1. Open from the Home screen of your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge the menu and then the Settings
2. Select "Display". In the next menu you can now find the night clock option.
3. Tap the entry and disable the night clock with the controller. The night watch will no longer be displayed on your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge side screen.
