If the display of your Samsung Galaxy S7 shows colors in gray or black and white, then battery performance is saved. For this reason, this function is also used, for example, in ultra-energy saving mode.
If the energy-saving mode is too slow for your, the Grayscale mode can also be activated on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and thus save battery power. You can find the function in the following sub-menu of the Android settings:
1. From the start screen, open the app menu and then the system settings.
2. Navigate to "Input help" and then "Visual aid"
3. Now scroll down completely until you see the option "Grayscale". Activate the slider.
You have now activated the grayscale mode on the Samsung Galaxy S7. All colors are now displayed in gray. This will save battery power, since the display of dark colors requires less battery power than it is the case with colors.
