There an info bar at the bottom of the screen will be displayed, in which the marked place just appears. Wipe this info bar now simply upward so that it is displayed on the entire screen.
You can now open with the three-point icon in the upper right a mini-menu, in which then the entry “Save offline map" can be selected.
Now you can narrow down the area that you want to save and then start to download the mapwith the "Save" button. This map isthen available offline in Google Maps on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
