This works as follows:
Open the Contact app on your Samsung Galaxy S6. If you find yourself in the overview, then tap at the top right on "More". A small menu pops up in which you now have to select the entry "Settings".
In the very first section "Manage and backup contacts" you can find the menu button "Import / Export contacts". Tap on this menu button and the menu for importing contact data appears.
