Samsung Galaxy S6 Hide S Finder and Quick Connect in Android Lollipop 5.1.1

The new Android Lollipop 5.1.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S6 makes it finally possible to hide the two buttons "S Finder" and "Quick Connect" within the status bar, to give you more space for notifications. Especially the S Finder and Quick Connect are usually not often used by the consumers.

In our article we'll show you now how to turn off S Finder and Quick Connect in the notification bar after the update to Android Lollipop 5.1.1.
For this pull down the status bar on your Samsung Galaxy S6. There you see at the upper right corner a small edit icon. Tap on this and you can now see all the elements of the status bar in an overview, or even those that you can still add. In this overview, you will find at the bottom two options with checkboxes:

• S Finder
• Quick Connect

Remove here the hook in the checkbox to hide "S Finder" and "Quick Connect" on the Samsung Galaxy S6 within the status bar. Finished!
Android Lollipop offers you even more useful features. More can be found in our changelog to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
