When you get on the Samsung Galaxy S6 a notification of a new SMS or WhatsApp message, then the contents of it is directly displayed on the lock screen. Open from the home screen the menu and then the Android settings. Navigate here to: sounds and notifications --> Notifications on lock screen.
Tap on the item and it will open a drop-down list in which you can now choose between "Hide Content" and "No notifications”.
After you have made your choice, no sender and no content of an SMS or WhatsApp message is displayed immediately on the lock screen of your Samsung Galaxy S6. You have successfully hidden on your Samsung Galaxy S6 the content of new notifications on the lock screen.
