The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has, unfortunately, no removable battery. So the trick no longer works, when the touchscreen or smartphone generally is unresponsive to inputs, to simply remove the battery.
Luckily, Samsung has made provisions for this case anyway and built a so-called soft reset. We want you to explain how to perform a soft reset on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus now, if no more entries can be made via the touch screen, because it becomes unresponsive:
For this you have to press the Power On / Off button and hold it for about 10 seconds long.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will then restart automatically and you can again use the smartphone as usual. The soft reset is the same act as removing the battery, because the power supply is interrupted for a brief moment. You know now how to do if the touch screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus does no longer react.
