Samsung Galaxy S6 Deactivate the notifications of individual apps in Android

You get from some apps notifications of new events via display, vibration and sound directly on the lock screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6. So it may be, for example, that you are informed from WhatsApp about new messages or from S Health about new daily fitness results. If you want to disable these alerts specifically for one app and not for all apps, then we'll show you now how that works with the Samsung Galaxy S6.

To do so, open from the Home Screen the following path:

Menu --> Settings --> Sounds & Notifications --> App Notifications

You can now search for the app you you want to disable the notifications on the Samsung Galaxy S6. Tap this app in the list and a window will be opened now with the following options:

  • Block Notifications
  • Set as priority

Now push the „Block notifications" regulator to "On". Finished!

So now you know how to allow or block notifications from individual app on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
