Samsung Galaxy S5 Check apps for malware with Android

The Samsung Galaxy S5 with the Android operating system has already included the opportunity to check apps for malware or malicious software. This function always comes into effect if you want to install a new app on your smartphone. The requirement is that you have enabled this "Verify apps” function.

That is why we want to show you briefly how you can check if you have enabled this security feature in Android and if not how to activate it.

To do this navigate with your Samsung Galaxy S5 to: App Menu --> Settings --> Section "System" --> Security

In the next sub-menu scroll down to the section "Device Administration". Here you can see the "Verify apps" option. Make sure that the checkbox is ticked. If this is the case, then your Samsung Galaxy S5 will warn you every time before installing a new app if there are harmful functions included.
