The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a dictionary built into the standard keyboard that learns new words you use and then suggests them to you when needed.
Unfortunately, it is quite possible that the dictionary sometimes learns wrong words, which should then not actually be proposed. The question that now arises is how to delete such a learned word.
You will find the answer to this question below:
If you would like to delete a special word from the dictionary on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, you must do the following:
- Open an application on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in which the keyboard is displayed (Zum example SMS app)
- Now type in the first few letters of the word you want to remove from the dictionary
- This will now be displayed in the preview. Press for about 2 seconds on the suggestion above the keyboard
- Confirm the deletion with "OK"
Then the word is removed from your Note 8 dictionary again and you can either relearn it or let it be. You now know the procedure for deleting individual words from the keyboard dictionary on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
