If you choose another mobile carrier, then you always get a new sim card. This Sim card is coated with a pin factory to unlock. Navigate from the home screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the following sub-menu of Android:
App Menu --> Section "System" --> Security --> Set Up Sim Card Lock --> Change Sim Pin
You must now enter into a query window, your new Sim Pin, which you got from the mobile operators. Tap on "Ok". Afterwards you can enter your desired Sim Pin. For security, you must re-enter the new sim pin, to avoid typing errors. Finished!
