Samsung Galaxy Note 4 becomes hot after update to Android Marshmallow

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has since today also the possibility to update to the new Android operating system Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. If you have carried out the update, then you can notice in connection with the operation that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 becomes hot.

If this was not the case previously, then this is probably due to the previous Android 6.0.1 update. The following procedure helps you when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 becomes very hotin normal operation:

Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 completely. Then press and hold the following key combination:

  • Power On / Off
  • Volume +
  • Home Button

When the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vibrates once, release the Power On/ Off button, but hold the other two buttons of the keyboard shortcut. Continue until a small menu appears on the display.

Now mark the entry "Wipe Cache Partition" by using the volume down key. The Power On/ Off button selects the entry and starts the process. This usually takes only a few seconds. The menu appears again. Now select the first entry with "Reboot System now" and execute the command again by pressing the power button.

Your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now restarting. In this process, old system files that were still present in the old operating system are deleted and eliminated. These can then no longer disturb the new Android Marshmallow.

I hope that this procedure helped you also for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Have fun with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
