The Samsung Galaxy Gear VR, which can be used with the S6 and the S7, gives a nice insight into the wide wide world of virtual reality. Many functions have to be re-learned, some already exist.
For example, with one of the latest updates the screenshot function for the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR was implemented. With this screenshot function, you can create a virtual reality snapshot, which is then saved as an image file in your gallery.
That is why one also calls such a screenshot "screen photo". In the following, we explain how you can create a screenshot with the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR:

1. If you are in a VR app, press the VR button for a long time on your glass.
2. The menu will appear. Tap on "Tools" on the right-hand side.
3. Select "Screenshot". You have now approximately three seconds time to adjust the viewing angle so as to capture the correct area of the screenshot.
4. On the top right you will see a red dot flashing. This means that the countdown has started. After about 3 seconds the screenshot is triggered. That's it already.
