When you navigate to the print settings of your printer, you may find under Print Quality the following options:
- Standard, High Quality, and Fine Grain.
What does fine grain mean? Is this better than High quality? The answer to this question, we would like to present you here:
The grain size is virtually the size of the printed particles. This print quality will usually only be found with a laser printer in the print settings. Because here the ink particles are "lasered" onto the paper.
This almost answers the question:
- High quality
The quality is already very high here, but the grains are still a little worse than fine grains.
- Fine Grain
This setting actually corresponds to the best print quality, as the grain size is the finest here. This corresponds to an imprinted letter or an image pixel is printed with many small dots. This then results in a text or a photo with a particularly high print quality.
