It may happen to your Nokia 8 that the screen is from now on black and no longer responds to inputs via the display nor the buttons. This is of course ugly, since the Nokia 8 can no longer be used.

First Aid when the Nokia 8 stops responding and the screen stays black:
- Press and hold the power button for about 12 Pressed for seconds.
This will now perform a soft reset. This has the same effect as removing the battery from the device (which of course is not possible). Then the Nokia 8 is restarted immediately and Android is booted.
Your Nokia 8 should now work as usual. If the smartphone often stops responding and displays a black screen, then the cause is either due to a faulty app or to the Android operating system.
