The Huawei P10 does not have a Micro USB port, but only a USB Type C connector. This may be impractical for some situations at the moment, but this new USB type also offers advantages. Because USB Type C is reversible, this port can be used to charge other devices.
How this works on the Huawei P10 exactly, we explain to you here:
For this purpose connect your Huawei P10 via USB type C cable with another compatible device. Pull down the status bar on your Huawei P10 and then select the following USB option:
- Charge Only
You must now select the "Charge only" USB connection mode from the device, which is charged. Your Huawei P10 will now charge the connected device via the USB Type C connector. Finished!
This useful feature will be more interesting in the future, as more and more devices are coming onto the market with the USB Type C connector. With the Huawei P10 you always have a charger.
Small tip: By using a USB type C adapter on Micro USB, one can charge with the Huawei P10 of course also devices such as the GoPro.
