If your GPS connection is bad or inaccurate in your Huawei Mate S, you should update the AGPS data for it. Unfortunately, Android has not integrated a function for this, which is why you have to download the following free app from the App Store: GPS test
In our article we describe how you can use GPS test to update the AGPS data of your Huawei Mate S.
Proceed as follows:
- Download GPS Test from the Google Play Store LINK
- Now open the app you just downloaded
- If you have not already done, switch the GPS of your Huawei Mate S to "On". Now open the menu in the GPS test app by tapping the three points in the upper right corner.
- Select now:
- Clear AGPS
- Update AGPS
You have now successfully executed the reset of the A-GPS data on the Huawei Mate S and then loaded the new data.
Restart the smartphone for the settings to take effect. Your Huawei Mate S should now be able to locate your location again in the shortest possible time.
