If you have a new app installed on your Android smartphone, such as a Samsung Galaxy device, then it may be that after you install or after open the app the following error message appears on your smartphone display:
"Your Google Account or app is not authorized by Google Play Services."
If you receive this error, please proceed as follows:
- Restart the Android smartphone
You should always first check whether the restart of the Android smartphone changes something - so restart your smartphone and do the same Action again. If the error reappears, proceed to No. 2
- App Cache and Empty Data – Android
Now empty the app cache from the app you just downloaded from the Google Play Store. This can be done simply as follows:
Open: App Menu --> Settings --> Applications --> Application Manager and there the app, where the o.g. Error occurs. In the app info, select Memory, and then tap the two buttons:
- Clear Data
- Clear cache
After restarting the smartphone, the error may have disappeared.
- Clear Google Play Store Data, Clear Cache, Uninstall Updates
You can also clear the Google Play Store as described in Tutorial 2. Tap the three points in the application manager at the top right of the screen, and then click "Show system applications" on the menu.
Now look for the Google Play Store, and also clear data and cache. In the Google Play store application, tap the three-point icon again in the upper-right corner, and then click Uninstall updates. Restart the smartphone.
- Remove and reinstall the Google Account
If the first three tips did not help you to fix the error "Your Google account or app has not been authorized by Google Play Services," you'll need to remove the Google Account and then add it new.
