To delete an app proceed as follows:
Open the menu of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and navigate to the app you want to remove. Please note that only apps and applications can be deleted, you have downloaded from an app store or market.
Now press the options button (left soft key) on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and select "Uninstall". All app icons now have a small minus-sign in the upper right corner.
