FitBit Surge no longer responds - Perform soft reset

If you use the FitBit Surge Fitness Tracker to record your sports data, it can happen that it suddenly stops responding to your input. The display is frozen. Only on and off does not work. We will tell you what you can do in such a case:

To restart the FitBit Surge when it stops responding:

  1. Press and hold the following buttons for about 15 seconds:
  • Left lower button
  • Right lower key
  1. Your FitBit Surge is now switched off. Wait about 10 - 15 seconds
  2. Turn the FitBit Surge back on as usual using the left button.

The procedure corresponds to a soft reset. No data will be lost and your FitBit Surge should work as usual.
