This is in the Google Maps app of course possible, but this option is very easy to overlook. We show you now where you find the option to avoid the toll roads in the Google Maps app of your Android smartphone.
Please open Google Maps on your smartphone. Type the start and destination address. Between the two addresses you can now find the "Options" button. This is somewhat inconspicuous.
Select here now the entry "Avoid Tolls" to not use this road category.
Then avoiding any toll road in a new calculation of the route with Google Maps is active and you can save money.
