If you are listening to music via headphones on the go with the Samsung Galaxy S9, then pressing the volume button will display a message informing you about the maximum volume and its danger to the ear.
So every time you press the volume button on your S9 and increase the volume, you get the pop-up warning about the volume.
This must also be actively confirmed.
Now you might want to know how to deactivate this warning?
Often you just want to increase the volume for your headphones while your smartphone is in your pocket. This is not possible as it has to be actively tapped away.
Unfortunately there is no option for this in the Android system settings.
However, you can install the following app from the Google Play Store:
- Samtweak
This allows you to deactivate the maximum volume indicator on the Samsung Galaxy S9. To use the app you don't need a root, but you have to give permission via the ADB shell.
Then you can uncheck "Disable Max Volume Warning" and deactivate the pop-up.
