The camera app of the Huawei P20 Pro can be partly adapted to the needs of the user. In any case, this includes the assignment of the volume key.
So it is possible that the volume button can be used as a shutter release button, as a focus button and for zooming. However, this was only possible until the last firmware update.
This means that users who have installed the latest firmware update on the Huawei P20 Pro will no longer be able to zoom using the volume button.
