Enable Samsung Galaxy Note 20 developer options

Developer options in Android offer the user a wide range of setting options. For example, on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, this sub-menu includes USB debugging, which helps you to connect to a PC.

But also other functions that are useful for developers, but also for normal users, can be found in this developer menu.

The developer options on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 are not visible at the factory and must be enabled via the Android settings. In the following we describe the procedure:

Activate developer mode on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20

1. open the Android settings on your Samsung smartphone

Scroll down to "Telephone info".

3. then go to "Software Information".

Tap the "Build Number" seven times in quick succession.

5. you will be asked to enter your PIN, gesture or password.

Once you have entered the requested information, you will see a status message saying

  • "The developer mode has been activated".

You will now find a new menu item in the main settings menu, the "Developer Options".

You now know how to unlock the developer options on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
