If you use iTunes on your PC or MAC to secure your data in a backup, then you would like to know under certain circumstances, in which file-path these backups are stored. This is especially important if you want to move this backup data, for example, to a USB stick or burn them to a DVD.
We tell you here in a nutshell where iTunes saves the backups from your iPhone and iPad.
The file path for Windows is:
C: / Users / your name /AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer/ MobileSync /Backup
The file path on a Mac is:
~ /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
In these folders, the backup files are stored of your iPhone or iPad, which have been created with iTunes. These can now be copied or processed further.
